Finding a good laptop is hard, but I have researched the best one for you! The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro is a modern, top-of-the-line product from the company that is almost all-powerful in the tech world. We say “almost” because Samsung is a leader in many areas, such as smartphones, TVs, and storage, but it hasn’t been as successful with laptops.

But Samsung wants to alter that with the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro, a stylish, high-end laptop with Intel’s 11th-generation processors. The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro is an Intel Evo-certified laptop, like the HP Spectre x360 (2021) and the Dell XPS 13 (Late 2020).

Intel Evo platforms are made to offer a certain performance level, so they must have at least 11th-generation processors, finally woke up from sleep in less than a second, have Thunderbolt four ports for super-fast data transfer speeds, and be able to last for more than nine hours on a single charge.

The idea is that if you see an Intel Evo badge on the box of a laptop, you should know that it will run very well. So, don’t worry.

Design

Samsung’s Galaxy phones are known for their good looks, and the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro is another nice-looking device from the company. The 13.3-inch model measures 304.4 x 199.8 x 11.2 mm, and the 15-inch model, which we review here, measures 355.4 x 225.8 x 11.7 mm.

The weight is also very light. The 15.6-inch model weighs only 1.05kg, which is very light for a 15-inch laptop and makes it easy to pick up with one hand. It should also fit easily into your bag or backpack, so you won’t even notice it’s there.

Many people work and learn these days remotely, and being able to choose where and when to work makes a thin, light laptop very useful. The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro is a good example of a laptop that meets these needs.

The color scheme is called “Mystic Silver,” and the metallic-colored lid stands against the white body. The keyboard is a big trackpad that is easy to use and responds quickly. It’s nice to see Samsung use the 15.6-inch laptop’s larger size to make the keyboard and touchpad as big and comfortable as possible. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro is pretty thin, it has many ports, which is important for a business or Studio One laptop. There is an HDMI port and two USB-C ports on the left side.

On the right are an SD card slot, a USB-A port (for older USB devices), and an audio jack. We like it when a laptop has a card slot, especially if it’s for professionals. It’s very useful, particularly for photographers who won’t need to plug in an extra dongle or adaptor.

Along with the Numpad on the keyboard, this feature is often left off laptops, so it’s good that Samsung kept it. The MacBook Pro, which only has two or four USB-C ports depending on how it’s set up, can’t compare to the number of ports on the Surface Book.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro’s design is simple, but it has just about everything you’d want in a laptop for work in 2018. It’s thin and light, the screen is big and not hidden by thick edges, it has a lot of ports, and the keyboard and trackpad are big and easy to use. This laptop might not have the most exciting design, but it was made to get the job done, not to excite people.

Performance

As an Intel Evo laptop, the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro has to meet certain performance requirements. These include having a battery life of more than nine hours, waking up from sleep in less than a second, and being 40 percent faster than a laptop from two years ago.

For a laptop of this price, the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro does many things well. Windows 10 runs smoothly, starts quickly, and the computer is thin and light. When we used the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro, it ran multiple apps and websites without problems.

The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro was also easy to use because it had big keys on the keyboard and a big, bright screen. The model we’re looking at here has an Intel Core i7-1165G7, a powerful quad-core processor with a top speed of 4.7 GHz.

Paired with 16GB of RAM makes a fast laptop great for everyday tasks. It might be too much for people who require a laptop for surfing the web or streaming videos, but if you want a machine where you can load many programs and start-up and run quickly, this is a great choice.

How Do I Test Samsung Galaxy Book Pro?

I run a lot of heavy software and games on Samsung galaxy as I’m a games lover. It proved an excellent machine.
